MODULE 1:

Bali Teacher Training Retreat [January 20th – February 1st]

We will begin our Program with a 13-day immersive training in Bali. We’ll delve deeply into all things yoga, including a mixture of personal practice, philosophy, functional anatomy, teaching principles and experiential learning as the smell of banana leaves float through the air!

During our time in Bali, we’ll be based at two locations getting to experience different areas of the country. The first 5 days of training will be held at our Private Villa with our own poolside yoga studio. The Villa is a short walk from Jalan Raya Seminyak, just steps from the best shopping, eateries and nightlife on the island and a five minute scooter ride from Double Six beach.  During our downtime, you’ll be able to explore the enticing surrounding neighborhood or take a refreshing dip in our private pool. We’ll also have a personal chef on hand to ensure we our nourishing ourselves – mind, body and spirit!

There is the opportunity to stay at the Villa during our time here, or you may arrange alternate, nearby accommodations and arrive to the Villa in the morning for training. Rooms at the Villa are limited, so make sure to reserve your space at the Villa early. Those who choose to stay elsewhere are welcome to arrange their own bookings or stay at one of our recommended locations outside of the Villa.

For those attendees who wish to stay at the Villa, all bedrooms are fitted with king-size or twin-beds and feature air-conditioning, big wardrobe closets, private veranda’s with garden views and wonderful private en-suite bathrooms fitted with tropical alfresco rain-showers.  We have Single, Double, and Triple occupancy rooms are available.

On day 6, we say goodbye to the Villa and head to our home base for the remainder of the training, Floating Leaf Eco-Luxury Retreat, located in the small, traditional Balinese village of Sukawati. This peaceful oasis will allow us to focus without distraction, while still being close to many of Bali’s beaches and popular attractions. From here, we’ll continue to move deeper into our teachings and experience another aspect of Balinese culture. The secluded location is the perfect setting to nourish, recharge and heal your mind, body and spirit. With views of the Indian Ocean and Mount Agung Volcano, an organic permaculture garden, a Balinese spa and open-air Yoga Sanctuary, you’re sure to have everything you need to melt into the island vibes. And anyone looking for action will find world-class surf steps away.

You can feel good about staying at Floating Leaf! Floating Leaf Resort prides itself on being a true eco-retreat center, deeply caring for the environment and the preservation of the local landscape. Their mission is to be an exemplary model for sustainable living without sacrificing luxury, service or comfort. All training attendees will stay at the Floating Leaf Eco-Luxury Retreat during our final week in Bali. Each room is well appointed with modern luxury and convenience, yet maintains a peaceful Balinese feel. Only double occupancy rooms are available.
